We offer our Northwest style smoked salmon two ways:

"Gold Seal" - These items are vacuum sealed in our famous Gold Seal Pouch, and then gently cooked in their own juices. This preserves the salmon naturally so no refrigeration is necessary until the pouch is opened. Our Sockeye, King and Keta smoked salmon fillets and Smoked Salmon Trio are examples.

Gold Seal products can be kept unopened, without refrigeration, for several years; once opened, they should also be refrigerated and used within 7-10 days.

"Ships on Ice" - These items must be kept frozen or refrigerated. We ship them to you with dry ice, in a re-usable styrofoam cooler to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Our Wild King Salmon Steaks and Flash Smoked Dinner Fillets are two examples.
