Regenerative Bath Salt Recipe

This recipe was originally created to treat inflamed, sore, and irritated skin typically associated with Eczema and Psoriasis. Since then we realized that this blissful bath treat can be enjoyed by all of us who are concerned about general skin health, and for those wishing to nurture their outer epidermis. This recipe is seamless, simple and, within a few moments enough can be made to last more than a month.

Ingredients needed (For one bath)

½ pound Dead Sea Salt
5 drops Carrot Seed essential oil
5 drops Chamomile (not the blue distillation) essential oil
2 teaspoons of Calendula oil
2 teaspoons of Kukui Nut Oil
1 tablespoon of Rum, Gin, or Brandy (Preferred, but optional)

To Create:

Draw a warm bath and as the water runs, pour in the Dead Sea Salt and ensure it dissolves thoroughly. While tub fills, combine the oils and alcohol in a separate measuring cup or small bowl. This will be added later on.

To use:

Soak in the tub for 5-10 minutes to allow your pores to open and the skin to absorb moisture.

Then add the mixture of oils and alcohol and blend it evenly in the water. Let yourself soak in the tub for another 10-15 minutes. This will give your skin enough time to properly absorb the mixture. Be sure not to soak longer then 20-25 minutes as prolonged exposure to warm water will usually de-hydrate the skin.
